Program Overview

EAP helps driven high school seniors, current college students, and post-baccalaureate students get a guaranteed spot in our Pharm.D. program.

Are you interested in becoming a pharmacist?

Join the Early Assurance Program (EAP) and assure an interview for the OSU/OHSU Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program!

EAP is designed for high school seniors, current college students, and post-baccalaureate students to assure an interview for our Pharm.D. program and learn more about the field of pharmacy! EAP students complete undergraduate prerequisite coursework at any accredited institution, while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a field of their choice. They may also complete Pharm.D. prerequisite coursework without earning a bachelor's degree. Students engage in professional development opportunities and gain experience in the healthcare field.

Why Join the Early Assurance Program?

Other than the fact that you secure an interview for the program, EAP students engage in a number of activities that prepare them for the pharmacy program. EAP students get individualized help with their PharmCAS application, have access to the College of Pharmacy faculty, engage in a number of co-curricular and professional development experiences, and develop goals alongside an EAP advisor to help them become leaders of their pharmacy class. As a result, EAP students are well prepared to enter into pharmacy school and find success in their pharmacy journey.
